Up for sale is an authentic Nintendo NES Super Mario Bros cartridge (cartridge only). This is a genuine original NES cartridge that has been tested and confirmed fully functional. The cartridge shows noticeable wear from previous use, including label wear, scuffs on the shell, and a torn/peeling label corner at the top — all consistent with a well-used vintage cartridge. Functionality is not affected.

What makes this cartridge particularly notable is that it bears two signatures on the front shell: one purported to be from James Rolfe (of Angry Video Game Nerd / AVGN fame) and one clearly printed as Mike Matei. A screenshot of a direct Instagram message conversation with Mike Matei is included in the listing photos, in which he responded “Probably” when asked if the signatures were his and James’s. The signatures have NOT been formally authenticated by a third-party authentication service. The buyer will need to pursue independent authentication if desired.
